About me

Hello, I'm Marlene. I am 28 and from Switzerland. As a little girl, I was fascinated by the Silk Road and especially Uzbekistan. In summer 2017, I visited the Central Asian country for the first time and immediately fell in love with the country and its people. Unfortunately, I also noticed how unknown Uzbekistan and the whole region are and how many prejudices prevail. With my blog I want to counteract it and show the real Uzbekistan.

Hallo, ich bin Marlene. Ich bin 28 und komme aus der Schweiz. Schon als kleines Mädchen faszinierten mich die Seidenstrasse und allem voran Usbekistan. Im Sommer 2017 besuchte ich das erste Mal das zentralasiatische Land und verliebte mich sofort in Land und Leute. Leider merkte ich auch wie unbekannt Usbekistan sowie die ganze Region ist und wie viele Vorurteile vorherrschen. Mit meinem Blog möchte ich dem Entgegenwirken und das Echte Usbekistan zeigen.
